Organic Wool Twisted Melange Herringbone
“Organic Wool Herringbone” is made from the wool of sheep raised in the harsh natural environment of Patagonia, South America. This material is characterized by an elegant luster—unique to raw wool with long fibers and deep crimp—as well as a firm, resilient texture and a springy feel.
The yarn is produced using the “twisted melange” technique, in which two to three different colors are twisted together to create a melange effect. This creates a granular layering of colors distinct from standard top-dyed yarns, and when combined with the herringbone weave, results in a classic appearance with a sense of three-dimensionality and depth.
