A new take based on the “CWU-8P,” worn by U.S. Air Force ground crews in extremely cold regions during the 1970s.
Its defining feature is the uniquely shaped hood, which also doubled as a cold-weather mask. It has a unique history of being nicknamed the “Rabbit Coat,” since the silhouette resembled rabbit ears when worn.
Where the original used cotton nylon, this version is reconstructed in nylon twill. It captures the distinctive design of vintage military wear while finishing it with a modern, marka-like presence.

“Nylon Twill,” a signature fabric produced every season together with a mill well versed in vintage military nylon twill construction. It faithfully recreates an authentic military texture, while achieving a softness and silky quality that rivals mil-spec 66 nylon twill.
The insulation uses Primaloft “Silver Insulation,” prized for its excellent balance of lightness and loft. Adjusted to the optimal amount for each item, it delivers high warmth suited even to midwinter, in a light and comfortable wear.

デザイン
1970年代にアメリカ空軍のグランドクルーが極寒地で着用していた「CWU-8P」をベースにした新型。
最大の特徴は、防寒用マスクの役割も兼ねた独特な形状のフード。被った際のシルエットが耳のように見えることから、「Rabbit Coat」とも呼ばれていたユニークな背景を持ちます。
オリジナルではコットンナイロンが使われていたところを、今作ではナイロンツイルで再構築。ヴィンテージミリタリーの特徴的なデザインを活かしながら、markaらしいモダンな佇まいに仕上げています。
