Inspired by the 1945 “101 COWBOY PANTS,” this design is based on a transitional model from the period before the official debut in 1946.
We have faithfully recreated the details of the era, including the use of a “COWBOY” donut button—an extremely rare find even in the vintage market—as the top button.
While retaining the historic specifications, we’ve adjusted the fit to create a clean, balanced silhouette around the hips.
This design evokes the rich history of Lee jeans while updating them into a modern, clean-cut pair unique to MARKAWARE.

We have recreated the selvedge denim featured in the 1945 101 COWBOY PANTS, which actually used indigo thread on one side and white selvedge on the other.
Red-selvedge denim is said to have originated in the late 1920s at Cone Mills in the United States, where red was added to distinguish it from other fabrics.
Lee often uses white selvedges or indigo selvedges, and the width of the selvedges varies by era. It is believed that the color was changed to distinguish the fabric from others.

古着市場でも非常に稀有な"COWBOY"のドーナッツボタンを第一釦に使用するなど、当時のディテールを忠実に再現しました。
