The 3-layer material “PERTEX® SHIELD” uses a 7d tricot laminated to the back of a mini ripstop fabric made from 20d x 20d filament semi-dull nylon yarn (100% Polyamide).
This material offers stretch and ease of movement. With a water resistance rating of 20,000mm and a moisture permeability rating of 20,000g/m²/day, it meets high standards among outdoor fabrics. It keeps you comfortable without clamminess inside the garment, even when you sweat. The water repellency treatment uses NFC water repellency, a non-fluorinated process, making it environmentally conscious. Waterproof durability remains at 80% even after 20 washes, which is excellent.
